Intended purpose
moderately to heavily exuding wounds
Fields of application
- lower leg ulcers
- decubital ulcers
- diabetic foot ulcers
- and surgical wounds
Properties
- offers gentle comfort, minimises pain during removal and reduces trauma to the wound and the wound environment
- high absorption and retention capacity even under compression
- larger pores in the silicone adhesive layer enable the rapid absorption of viscous exudate
- reduction of germs by binding in the dressing (to the superabsorbent polymers); removal during dressing changes
- good shape retention even when used in a vertical position as a result of compressed superabsorbent polymer layer
