Intended purpose
Suitable for dry, parchment-like, oily, seborrhoeic or healthy skin and hyperkeratotic skin such as may occur, for example, in association with lymphoedema.
Fields of application
- diabetic ulcers
- arterial and venous ulcers
- pressure ulcers
- postoperative wounds healing by secondary intention
- traumatic and surgical wounds (abrasions, incisions, lacerations)
- burns and scalds (3rd degree: following surgical debridement)
- bullous epidermolysis
Properties
- the angled fibre tops actively loosen debris and exudate from the wound
- the fibre composite absorbs and binds the loosend wound coatings and keratoses and removes them
- newly formed granulation tissue and ingrown epithelial cells are protected
To note
- product for debridement, does not stay on the wound
- can be used at every dressing change if needed
- Debrisoft Pad must not be cut to size
