Intended purpose
Wound care in a moist environment, promoting physiological healing.
Fields of application
- Moderately to heavily exuding wounds
- Superficial, surgical wounds, abrasions
- Skin graft donor sites
- Chronic wounds: diabetic, pressure and leg ulcers
Properties
- Soft and conformable
- High absorption, even under compression
- Breathable
- Perforated non-adherent contact layer
- Reduces maceration risk
To note
- if clinically indicated and considering the wound and surrounding skin, the dressing may remain in situ for up to 7 days
- can be used under compression bandages
- can be used as primary or secondary dressings
- can be cut to the wound’s particular shape
