Fields of application
- immobilisation following fractures, surgery or orthopaedic corrections; treatment of joint and bone conditions
Properties
- rigid cast bandage
- good lamination of layers
- very stable due to fibreglass fabric
- adaptive to all body contours
- air-permeable
- peremable to X-rays
To note
- can be cut as long as the product isn’t dried out
- can be applied with standard examination gloves
- setting time 2.5 - 5 min after activation with water
- can withstand weight-bearing after 30 min
- recommended dip water temperature: 20 - 24°C
